The Ferrisburgh Grange Hall
These paintings were donated to the Friends of the Ferrisburgh Grange Hall for the Restoration of the historical building. The Watercolor of the Grange was sold at the Basin Harbor Auction fundraiser in 2005.
The watercolor painting is in a public collection at the Ferrisburgh Grange Hall thanks to a donation by
Katherine Teetor at the dedication of the renovated building in 2008 and is published in the Fletcher Allen 2009 Vermont Artists Calendar.
The inspiration for my mirror is a combination of events, the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Lake Champlain, the Vergennes' Basin Harbor area and in the memory of a special friend who lost her battle with cancer in April.. She appreciated the natural world and dedicated her life to making the world a better place, teaching children about the wonders of nature.
The mirror will be auctioned at French Heritage Day, July 18, 2009, 11:00-4:00, in Vergennes.
